Are you in Your 50's? or 60's?
Are you wondering What's next?
Is your nest empty, or on its way there?
Wondering what to do with the rest of your life?
Most of us have led a very hectic, often stressful life during the years we were building our careers and raising our family. Seldom did we have the time, or take the time, to look at the big picture of life, to ask the deeper questions. Questions like:
"Who am I" and "Where am I going". These seemed too big and too distant to concern ourselves with in the midst of all that hectic in our world and the world around us.
This may be the time for you to ponder the meaning and the purpose of your life. Or it may be a time for more in your life, more joy, more freedom, more excitement, more fulfillment; but in which direction do you go, and how? Where do you start?

It's Never Too Late To Examine Our Belief Systems
It's never too late ...
To examine our belief systems and our thoughts about aging and elderhood.
Societal norms tell us that the spice of life is to be found in our youthful years;
• That joy and fun is to be had mainly when we are young;
• That during our adult years we are to be maximally productive and achieve success by being extremely active and pro-active during most of our waking hours;
• That human worth is to be measured principally by the success we have achieved during our adult years;
• That it's the end result that counts, not they journey;
• That once we are entering our "retirement years" we become less valuable because our contribution to GNP and to Society is declining or coming to a stand-still, eventually becoming a "net-drain" on Society;
• That during our later years we are "over the hill", declining, being "worth less";
• That the principal way to preserve our value and meaning comes from how much we do and how busy we are;
• That once our physical limitations curtail our doing, we become helpless, and we are less than ...
What if we were to begin searching for new and more reality-based answers to our life, believing less what others say, finding out for ourselves?

Making A Positive Difference In The World Today
A universal wish of each human is to make a difference in the world, to have one's time and energy count in a positive, lasting way. Yet how many of us feel that this is what we are doing in our life right now, or may be doing in the future?

Your Best Years: Are they a vibrant expression of YOU?
Are they "Golden"? Truly fulfilling for you and those around you? If you are not yet retired, do you believe your next 30-40 years will be filled with joy, energy, vitality, meaning?
Our traditional definition of Retirement suggests a fairly bleak outlook for our later years: escaping from the job or career we often didn't like, winding down, slowing down, losing vitality and health, becoming forgetful and feeble, living with little or no purpose, waiting until it's our turn to move to the other side. The result too often is depression, poor health, early signs of aging, pre-mature death and even suicide.

Hardy's Mission

About Hardy
Hardy's BACKGROUND:
30 years of senior management and consulting experience in global banking, the hospitality industry, and in entrepreneurial ventures proved to him that the world "out there" can be much fun and filled with excitement (and stress), can bring material and ego rewards, but seldom leads to the ultimate Joy and Peace all of us are eventually seeking in our lives. In his early 50's he began to ask some of the broader and deeper questions: Why am I here on this Earth? Where am I to make a difference in this world? Whom am I to serve and how?

Your Wisdom Years
The Most Valuable Asset We Have
We humans have an incredible power to discern, to make wise choices, to use sound judgment, to be patient, to use discretion, to apply penetrating intelligence; to follow a sound course of action based on knowledge, on experience, on keen perception and on understanding. That is what makes us human. That is the definition of wisdom.
